One of my favorite places in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains is the Little Lakes Valley above Bishop, California. This scene was captured on a fall hike, with the remains of an overnight storm on the mountains. This little lake is right below the trail, but feels completely isolated. The medium is oil on canvas board, with a protective varnish applied. The image measures 10" wide by 8" high, ready for framing.
