9.5" tall X 2.5" (241mm X 65mm) Elsmey is the perfect size for whatever book you're reading. Which is lucky because she is, after all, a bookmark. But so fabulous that she is a Goddess and as such, the rules of anatomy do not apply to her so she gets wheels instead of feet. Forget roller-skates! This bookmark gets around and will roll though any sort of literature you care to read. Elegantly attired in a red and gold tunic, a handy pocket... and a very colorful skirt. The rules of fashion also do not apply to her. Bright pink hair (thread) and a colorful hat -- she contemplates only her future as your bookmark, with the clarity of purpose that is just typical of my bookGoddesses.

I made her face out of playdoh which I painted to resemble old bronze. Her tunic is purchased paper and the skirt I made from some of my kid's left over graph paper from math class. The hat is fabric and all is glued down with gel medium which is tough stuff! The background is embellished with torn up sheet music and a bit from a French language newspaper and some wrapping paper. All these bits and pieces come together into Elsmey DuJour JUST FOR YOU.
