My husband loves this chair.

For years he's wanted one.. an original, with the fiberglass shell, worn with age and history. Although I wasn't able to find (or afford) that history laden chair I was found a reproduction and surprised him one Christmas a few years ago. The Eames' designed the RAR chair as a gift for the mothers in their employ. When you sit in one you see immediately why. It cups your body, hold your arms in the perfect position. It's thoughtful.

My husband uses it not for nursing but for playing music. His banjo sits next to the lovely little chair and sometimes in the late afternoon I'll hear music rolling up the stairs from below. I peek down to see him rocking along, plucking out a lovely tune, arms perched perfectly in his RAR chair.

Each print is signed, dated, and part of an open edition. Printed on 8.5 x 11 inch archival paper and shipped in a flat board mailer.
