Copper Leaf on a Sterling Chain zn006

Description

I made this pretty little pendant by impressing the pattern of a real leaf onto copper sheet, giving it a deep red/black patina with my torch, and cutting it out to the shape of the leaf. I applied a microcrystalline wax to preserve the patina. The leaf pendant measures approximately 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 3/8 long (30mm by 35mm).

The pendant comes on an 18" (45cm) sterling silver chain with a small sterling silver lobster clasp.
