Holga Polaroid Print 8x8 (Holgaroid)

Description

This is a beautiful 8x8" matte print of a photo I took using my Holga with a Polaroid back and Type 85 polaroid film, entitled "We Live in an Imperfect World." This special photo--which was a daily deviation on Deviantart.com--is printed from a 600dpi PNG scan of the positive from this sadly now-discontinued Polaroid film, and is signed and dated. It is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper and will last beyond a lifetime!

I shot this photo in the rural areas near my home in North Texas, and the faded glory of the Holga, expired Polaroid emulsion, and streaks of photo fixer all give it an ethereal quality that cannot be matched by the "perfection" of digital photography. We live in an imperfect world indeed!
