Sari reds necklace

Description

This necklace reminds me of a red sari... Faceted deep red carnelian beads and salmon-colored quartz beads are linked with sturdy hand-wrapped gold-filled wire. A gold-filled toggle-style clasp fastens the necklace. Simple and classic with a little sparkle.

The details:
--This necklace is 17 1/4 inches (44.5 cm) long, measured from one end of the clasp to the other. On request I can lengthen or shorten this necklace up to two inches, free of charge.
--The beads are a faceted dyed quartz and a dyed/heat-treated carnelian.
--All metal, including the clasp, is gold-filled. See description of gold-filled metal below.

This necklace will be mailed to you in a sturdy box tied with a bow, all set for gift-giving. If you purchase additional items from my Etsy shop, shipping is free of charge for those additional items.

What is gold-filled metal...? Gold-filled metal is the highest-quality gold toned metal other than solid gold. It consists of a base metal core, such as brass, to which a layer of gold (generally 14K) is pressure/heat bonded. Gold-filled metal is durable and should retain its gold finish for years. It can be safely worn by those with allergies to metals such as nickel. It is more durable than gold-plated metal, which is a thin gold-tone coating that can rub off with exposure to varying temperatures and skin lotions.
