Vigee LeBrun was the painter to the court of Marie Antoinette. She wrote a wonderful memoir which we should all read to get a better view of the French Revolution and its effect on the aristocracy and the commoners alike. But enough of that; here is a vestige of the work of that great female artist, preserved here in a gorgeous 12" square pillow. The image is printed directly onto soft canvas cloth, then stitched onto excellent quality fabric and secured in back with a pretty silver button.
