My mom has an amazing dog: she's an Akita named Katie. The thing is, Katie is 150 lbs. and usually mistaken for a boy. I told my mom that I was going to make her a collar for Christmas this year and her only request was that it make her look like a girl. The Katie Collar was born by making rosettes out of the classic Euro 4-1 chain maille weave. If you too, have an adorable girl dog who is commonly mistaken for a boy, this collar will surely help.

This particular Katie Collar is available in size Medium (14"-18"). I will custom make this collar to your requested measurement between 14"-18". For example: if you request a 16" collar, there will be enough extender rings to accommodate between 15"-17" to allow for weight fluctuations. Please be sure to include your measurement in the Notes to Seller section when you check out. Also, please note that this will be custom made to your specifications and will not ship out immediately. It will typically ship within seven to ten business days of payment.

This collar was made using bright aluminum rings and is 1" wide. There is a swivel clip on the end with enough rings to allow a 2" variance in your requested size measurement. Bright aluminum is commonly mistaken for sterling silver and is surprisingly light at 1/3 the weight of steel. It is also highly tarnish resistant. If your pup has a favorite color, include that in the Notes to Seller section when you check out and there might just be a collar charm included!
