PASTEL NINES QUILT (34X42)

Description

New, handmade baby quilt. Consists of 144 two-inch 9-patch blocks of purple, turquoise and yellow novelty prints, alternating with 2-inch white squares. There is a 1 inch darker purple inner border and 2 inch lighter purple outer border. Backing fabric is pale lavender with fluffy white clouds, small birds and tiny hearts. Finished size is 34 x 42 inches. All fabric, batting and thread is designer quality 100% cotton. Quilt is machine pieced and hand-guided machine quilted, then bound by hand. It is quilted in an "X" pattern across each square.

Comes with new, 14 inch "Classic ty" Bear ("Scrumptious") holding her own coordinating mini quilt. This combo makes a great baby shower gift -- guaranteed to get oohs and aahs! (Bear is not intended as a toy for children under 3.)

Quilt has been machine washed to ensure that colors will not bleed, and to create the slightly "puckered" look of an antique quilt. We use Dreft baby detergent with a double rinse cycle, and tumble dry without fabric softener to protect baby's delicate skin. Laundry instructions are included for future machine washing and drying.
