CURVED LOG CABIN QUILT (48X48)

Description

This unique throw/lap/wallhanging quilt consists of nine curved log cabin blocks in nine different colors. Each colorway contains 5 different fabrics, plus 5 ecru fabrics to create the background. There is a one-and-one-half inch wide beige outer border, and a brown print binding. The backing fabric is a tan on tan print. The ecru background areas are quilted in a dense stipple pattern; the colored areas are quilted in an arc pattern to enhance the "circle" effect. (The are actually no curved pieces in the blocks!) All fabric, batting and thread is designer quality 100% cotton. The quilt is machine pieced and hand-guided machine quilted, then bound by hand. It was gently machine washed after completion, to ensure against colors bleeding, and also to create the slightly "puckered" look of an antique. Laundry instructions are included.
