Burgundy Felted Scarf with Free Shipping

This one-of-a-kind felted scarf was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The burgundy scarf is wet felted out of Blueface Leicster wool. It's made using a unique felting process that produces an intentionally holey textile--no scissors or knitting is involved. It is lightweight and durable: the perfect combination for everyday wearability.

I hand-dyed the fiber. The scarf is 2 hues of burgundy used alteranately... the result is a wine-colored textile with luscious variation. Though it's holey, the scarf is quite warm and very soft.

56 inches long (measured from fringe tips) and 6.5 inches wide.
