Canada Goose - Original Ink Marker Drawing in 11x14 Mat - Ranlett A4C

Description

I'd read about a technique of using ink markers and water to create quick study sketches. This is the result of that method. While not as detailed as some of my work, it's still a nice drawing of a dapper Canada Goose. For this study sketch, I used black and grey acid-free markers and water (to soften and blend some areas) on watercolor paper. I also added just a bit of white color pencil for highlights. For reference I used my photo of a goose that visited our pond with its mate.

This drawing is already matted to fit a standard 11x14 frame - frame not included.

Art: 7.75" x 9.75"
Mat: 11" x 14", white with black core (see 2nd image for proportions)
Medium: Tombow Ink Marker on 140-lb Arches cold press watercolor paper.
