Introducing Woolmer scarves! Exclusive to What Katy Had, these scarves have been lovingly knitted completely by hand. No machines here! Hours and hours of work goes into to each one and what's more they're completely unique. No-one else will ever have a scarf quite like yours in the whole wide world...

This hat and scarf is called Winter in the White Wood. I can see the White Wood out of my window. In the spring the trees are covered in white blossom, which is where it gets in name, but in the winter it's all greens and browns. Step inside the White Wood and it's like being in a wonderful dappled and leafy cave. I'm pretty sure there are fairies although I haven't seen one... yet...

The scarf is very, very long. Mind you don't get it tangled in a briar bush! Wear it long or wrap it around and around yourself (don't get stuck now!).

The actual measurements of the scarf are 98 inches long by 5.5 inches wide. That's a massive eight foot of scarf! It's knitted from 100% acrylic wool which is lovely and soft and, most importantly, not itchy for those with allergies.

It's knitted with nice thick wool. Quite loose knit and stretchy too. It's super-soft and oh so cuddly. You'll be finding excuses to go outside just so you can wear it!

The hat is knitted from the same wool as the scarf and it's stretchy too. Probably the most comfortable hat you will ever own. It's good for all sizes of head. Boys and girls. It might be quite loose on you if you have a small head though. The hat is turned up at the bottom and stitched into place to keep you looking tiptop.

You may machine wash both hat and scarf at 40°, tumble dry them on a cool cycle and you can iron them on a low setting too. You can even dry clean them if you want to. They're not fussy.

This hat and scarf set has all the colours of the forest woven into it. Browns, greens and a hint of sunshine... Oh, and if you do want to go hunting for fairies this set is perfect. You'll blend right into the woodland :)

I really cannot emphasise how extra lovely this scarf and hat set is. And remember, scarves and hats are not just for winter. They're also great for cuddling up on the sofa with, lassoing your dog and keeping your teapot warm.
