Like a ghost from Scooby Doo, the ectoplasmic fawn haunts the forest, glowing under the moon. Did she slip in some radioactive sewage? Is she haunting hunters? Is she a clone crossed with a jellyfish? We may never know. But she means no harm and is quite curious.

I tried to accomplish one painting a day in January, and I almost made it. This rustic little painting on wood board is
5.5x6, painted in oils with matte black sides and a hanging loop on back. She stands alone, a study of a photo I took in 2005. As the price and photos show, it is *not* a highly finished, professional, gallery-quality piece, but a fun and playful little study, lightly sanded with some wood texture revealed. Real art from the trenches.
