Oxidized Copper Byzantine Chainmail Earrings

Description

These earrings were handmade by wrapping copper wire into a coil. I then sawed the coil into individual rings and wove them in a weave known as Byzantine. A patina was added to give them an antiqued look. I then hung them from handmade copper ear wires.

These earrings measure approximately 2 inches (3 cm) from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. They are approximately ¼ inch (.6 cm) in width.

Note: The ear wires that are on the earrings are made from copper wire. If you would like them switched to surgical steel with copper plated accents (last photo) please leave a message in notes to seller upon purchase and I will switch them for you.
