OOAK Victorian Love Token Valentine 1

Description

This is one of my Original Hand made Victorian Valentine Shadowboxes. Each are entirely hand made by me, one at a time, and each are ONE OF A KIND!!! It measures 6"x9", and is made from a vintage HEAVY ribbed cream board kerchief box. Hanger is rusty wire, accented with a tiny bow from green & brown ombre ribbon. In this dainty shadow box I have placed a copy of a Mid 19th century Victorian engraving from one of the books here at the Museum~ above the girls says "Forget Me Not". I have delicately hand painted them with watercolours. There are 2 lil German Victorian scraps in the corners, and center top, a sprig of preserved sweet annee. I have given this 2 different hair tokens, as if exchanged by 2 very bestest friends. To the left is a braid of black hair, arranged into a circle & BOW, with a little bouquet of dried 'Everlastings' flowers. I have inked below this the name 'Elizabeth'. To the right, is a super delicate braid of cotswold wool hair~ carefully laid down in 2 loops, with a green silk bow, and then sealed with crimson wax with an antique letter seal. The design on this one is a forget me not flower, with that same verse overhead.
