Description

Mitten pattern inspired by elements from my home town.
A small fishing town on the south west coast of Norway.
Actually, it could represent any little town on our long rugged coast.

One can recognize the old Church, small, white, wooden houses,
an old bridge, with the ducks swimming underneath it.
A fishing boat, crab, fishnet and fish...oh, and seagulls..

I knitted mine in Cascade 220 wool
Gauge: about 7x7 sts on 1x1" (about 2.5 x 2.5 mm)
5 double pointed needles: 3.5 mm
Ladies size medium
Width: 4 1/4"
Thumb length: 3"
From thumb opening to top of mitten: 6"
Full length: about 12"
