Jumping out of a giant carrot "stocking" this whimsical fellow will be right at home with your spring or garden decor. This piece was hand painted, and then aged to add character and interest. It is made from cotton muslin and stuffed with clean wool. The rabbit's ears and paws are wired so they can be posed in a variety of ways. His face is embroidered, his eyes are glass beads, and he has button thread for whiskers. The giant orange carrot is filled with dried twigs, grass, flax and several handmade cloth flowers. It is finished with an aged cheesecloth bow and a rusty bell at it's tip. This piece comes ready to hang & looks great on a door, cupboard or wall.

The piece measures 24" from the top of the rabbit's head to the tip of the carrot. The overall length of this piece is 28", which includes the grass & greenery.

You are purchasing only one rabbit, the first one pictured in the giant carrot. The others are part of a series I have been working on, and are for sale in separate listings.

I have combined designs from two pattern makers for this piece. The carrot is a Kentucky Primitives pattern and the rabbit is from Folk & Whimsy. Both are used with permission.
