Thank you so much for looking at my work! It is my hope that my art will evoke a smile, a laugh or even a tear sometimes. This whimsical ONE OF A KIND, ORIGINAL altered art doll assemblage is made from discarded, scrap and/or recycled materials. It measures approx. 3.5" tall X 4" wide X .75" thick (excluding hanger).

Handmade clay body and face cabochon, pastels, inks, stamped images, altered puzzle piece, gorgeous butterfly wings and acetate were used. The piece hangs from crazy wire adorned with recycled beads.

Scan does not show the VIVID colors and rich detail of this piece. It has much more depth and interest than can be shown in the photos. Photos actually make it appear a bit washed out, but the colors are quite intense in person.

The effect I am going for with these pieces is fun and funky. I refer to my work as "primitive" because my techniques and use of recycled materials often results in the finished product looking a bit rough or unrefined, which I think just adds to the interest and character of the individual piece.

This is an ORIGINAL work of art, not a copy or print.

Would make a very unique gift for that special someone or a real conversation piece for your home or office!
