I tried many SOLID shampoo bar formulas, and I just could not get the "feeling" of clean hair that I was use to with the "store bought" stuff (oh the sacrilege!) I KNEW my hair was clean, it was shiny and soft....But I just felt there was something MISSING...I HAD to come up with something totally different, totally new, and something totally UNIQUE, that would make my hair feel SQUEEKY clean, and stay that way until the next morning...Six or seven failed attempts later, and a really MAD family (one formula made us look like the slicked back hair boys from GREASE the movie!) I "stumbled" upon it----Natural Sea SALT!!!! And the rest is Gudonya history!!! Welcome the "Birth" of:

SALTY DAWG CREME SHAMPOO

First off, why the name of Salty Dawg? Its namesake is a cocktail made from Grapefruit juice, gin or vodka, with salt on the glass...The first attempts at the scent smelled like the cocktail, so the name stuck!!! So what is the fragrance of this "Dawg"????

TAHITIAN VANILLA -- Vanilla is so sexy, and our Tahitian Vanilla Dawg is at the top of the list. This vanilla is so incredible I couldn't keep my hands off this one! A bit citrusy and super fresh. This shampoo is a snowy white and is better than a morning coffee. I had to almost chain this one to me or it would have been stolen by my husband for sure. No vanilla extract has ever smelled so good. This one will change to a tan color over time, because of the real vanilla oil in it, but I am sure it will not last that long!

Back to the "pitch".... HIGH levels of sea salt mixed up with a creme soap give you SQUEEKY clean hair. Then we put in the HAIR LOVING ADDITIVES of Panthenol (also called Provitamin B5) and Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein!!! Research has shown that Panthenol penetrates the hair shaft and root, and can thicken the hair by up to 10%. It also increases the tensile strength of hair, giving it resistance to breakage, elasticity and luster to hair. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein is naturally derived, this moisture balancing protein offers film forming effects, and adds body and shine to hair. Able to penetrate the cuticle of the hair, this protein is a good choice for normal to dry, brittle, damaged hair. Salty Dawg give your hair a great clean that is great FOR your hair too!!!

Due to its HIGH salt content, when you squeeze the stand up tube (isn't that great, gravity does all of the work to get it up to the pour spout...Great if you are half asleep in the morning!) the cream has the "gritty" feel of the salt in your hand, and when you put it on your already wet hair and mix with EXTRA water to lather (this is important)...POOF!! all the gritty salt disappears and a Ton (NOT KIDDING HERE!) of lather envelopes your hair with its "loving" embrace!!! A little "Dawg" goes a LONG way!!! (I put a dollop the size of a nickle or dime) It is packaged up in a full 6 ounces (in weight) squeeze tube that will last a good long time...Unless it is stolen by other family members!!!!Grab a "Dawg" today...You won't regret it!!!
