4 skeins of handspun, 147 yards 4 oz total

Description

These are four skeinlets of my own handdyed and handcarded fiber blends. I'm offering them as a lot of four, equalling 147 yards and 4 oz. The yarns are similar in weight, ranging from sport-weight to bulky on the thick-n-thin spots. Use these yarns together for a fun, colorful project, or as embellishments on larger projects with commercial yarns.

The orange and red yarn is a wool blend with bits of lime green that I blended using my handcards. It is 26.6 yards and .9 oz.

The green skeinlet is a mix of forest green merino and a lovely handdyed silk/merino blend from Capistrano Fiber Arts. 18 yards, .55 oz. Blended by me with my handcards as a sampler.

The candy-colored skein comes from more of my handcarded batts, fiber is mill ends wool handdyed by me. 51.66 yards, 1.45 oz.

The last skeinlet is a handcarded mixture of natural-colored bluefaced leicester wool, with sky blue, white, and red wool blended in for a candy-striping effect. 16.6 yards, 1.1 oz.

Hand wash all yarns and lay flat to dry.

All my yarn comes from a smoke-free environment. I have cats who do wander about my studio, but all yarn is washed after spinning and stored safely away from them. Let me know if you are allergic, I will make sure to wash your yarn again just in case.
