secret sale - linen window tote with vintage feedsack patchwork
Description
A very most special tote made from the richest chocolate brown 100% linen with a one-of-a-kind vintage feedsack 4-square appliqué on each side of the bag. I blanket-stitched these blocks to the tote, then highlighted them by quilting a graphic pattern reminiscent of a stained-glass window. Instead of traditional cotton batting, I opted instead to use wool felt for the quilting, which gives this tote a very sturdy, soft and shapely feel. Fully lined with a coordinating cotton print which is also used on the straps.Measures about 12" x 13" with two 18" straps.
