Enchantress Victorian Bustle Gown CUSTOM MADE

Description

For a truly elegant affair try this stunning Victorian era bustle skirt with gathered front and rear bustle. Front drapes in loose pleating and rear bustle is designed to be very full yet extremely light weight. Shown in black and white stripe satin under skirting with a contrasting bustle in black iridescent satin. The contrasting fabric in this bustle skirt is meant to draw attention to the rear bustle train and displays both fabrics beautifully. It can however be entirely created from just one fabric choice for a more formal look.

Paired with a strapless fully boned bodice in an eye catching understated design with gently curved sweetheart neckline. The bodice closes with a with an adjustable ribbon laced-up back. Simply exquisite!

Construction:
1/2" coated steel boning was used for this piece as plastic boning has a tendency to not recover from prolonged wear. Plastic tends to fatigue in places where it's bent too much, leading to excoriation, therefore I only use steel boning in my bodices. A mock up for the custom drafted bodice is also included in the price of this gown to ensure a proper fit. If you require more than one mock up an extra fee will be charged for this. A comfort panel can also be added for an additional fee if you like. This gown can also be created with a boned bodice with straps for more coverage and support if needed, please inquire for details.

I'll be offering a very limited number of these custom luxurious gowns so please keep this in mind if you are planning to order.

I will be happy to work with you to find and create this gown in any color or suitable fabric you have in mind, the sky's the limit! Please note the pricing for this gown does not include fabric costs, fabric choices and trims will incur an additional fee.

Plus Sizes(16 - 22) please add 20% to your total.

This gown can be made to one of the sizes on my size chart or to your custom measurements.

For custom garments your actual measurements will be needed. Below is a list of the measurements needed to create this design and a brief explanation of each to insure a proper fit. If I need additional measurements I will contact you for them.

BUST: fitted over a bra at the fullest part of the bust, please note that this should be the measurement around your bust, not your bra size as bra size can differ from your actual measurement.
WAIST: Measurement of your natural waist. If you wear your skirts off the natural waist please include that measurement as well.
HIPS: measurement at the fullest part of the hips (this may be over the buttocks if that is where you are widest/fullest)
SKIRT LENGTH: measure this from the side of the waist, down your leg to the desired hem length for the front of the skirt. If the skirt you are wishing to order is longer at the back than front, please also include the back skirt length measurement from waist to desired hem of skirt.

I am not responsible for fitting errors due to incorrect measurements being provided. Please contact me with any questions about the fit, if there are any. You may wish to have a seamstress or tailor in your area take the measurements needed.
