Mosaic Mixed Media Art Mirror

Description

This mosaic was great fun to make. I created it using my "crazy quilt" style and a vast array of materials.

The materials include stained glass, mirrored glass, vintage ceramic tiles, millefiori, shell, glass "rocks", glass gems, stones, irridescent glass, jewelry findings, broken plate pieces, and crushed glass. Each bird has a millefiori eye.

This piece measures 24 1/2" by 32 1/2" and has a 10" by 18" mirror. It's grouted in with a gray-green grout and has a wooden frame painted a gray-green. It is sealed and the hardware is attached for hanging.
