Water Lily Necklace
Description
A brass pendant, the shape of which reminds me of a water lily, has been given a vibrant verdigris patina, sealed with beeswax and buffed.The lily (1.8"x1.6"/45x40mm) is both centered with and adjoined by potato shaped freshwater pearls, wired and secured with oxidized sterling.
The chain is solid copper, given an aged patina, as has the handformed and forged sterling hook and eye clasp.
A big, bold mix of textures and patina, the necklace measures 18"/45.7cm in length. (Let me know if you'd like a different length.)
