Stag horn Hair Spear

Description

This Striking piece is a slice of deer antler. (Its shape almost as a nut like quality) Entrirely worked by myself and one of a kind. Sterling Silver gently hammered twin tines raise the piece to an organic/asian look.
Measures 7" in total. The Ornament top is 1 3/4"x 1 1/2" across.
The deer has long history of being a mythical creature. There are deer myths of humans turning into deer, or deer leading one into an avdenture ,to the pursuit of wisdom. The Celts believe the deer can move between worlds. The deers antlers very similar to tree branches is often the symbol of fertility, The shedding of them and regrowth each year, symbolise regeneration
