Description

This is a floor model of the first version of the Exploded coffee table. By floor model, I mean it has been sitting on my floor. It hasn't been used but it has been toted around which means it has an occasional ding. Nothing serious, not even to my eye.

This Exploded is made of ¾ inch Baltic Birch cut on a very large CNC machine. The top surface laminated black and the bottom shelf, like the legs is veneered with walnut.

The brackets are cut on a high-tech laser cutter, and then powder-coated.

The Baltic birch edges are rounded over and all is sanded and varnished by my own hand.

Exploded is 44 ½ inches long by 19 ½ inches wide. It stands 16 inches high.
