Natural Wood Pendant *Willow* to bring out your inner Moon Goddess!

This is a beautiful pendant made from a thin slice of a branch of a Pussy Willow tree. It still has the greenish bark attached, for a wonderful tactile contrast with the silky smoothness of the wood. The age rings are clearly defined in the quite pale wood and there are numerous radial lines marking the position of side shoots. This is a relatively large pendant, but incredibly light weight as Willow is not a heavy wood. This would be a perfect pendant to wear for any ritual honouring the Goddess in almost any guise, and would be particularly suitable for magic to do with healing or to increase your intuition during divination.

These undecorated pendants are popular with anyone who prefers to be a little more discreet about their beliefs and don’t always want pentacles all over everything, as they’re suitable for wearing anywhere and in front of anyone. Of course, the properties of the wood are totally unaffected by either having or not having a design on the surface! If you don’t want to wear it then you can carry it in your pocket or just hang it somewhere in your home or car.

It has been finished with a light coat of oil and will come strung on a waxed cotton cord, so it contains no animal products or metal parts.

Willow is a very magical tree that increases psychic energy, so it’s excellent as a general purpose wand. It is believed to share the essence of snakes. It is useful for magic concerning healing and fertility, and it is said to aid divination and bring inspiration. Its powers are strongest at night, under the moon.
