Description

This hard drive has engraved on its inside edge the very day it was made Dec-4-1987. however there's no telling the day this old drive died. the hard drive was far bigger than other hard drives I've found so far.

It's magnetic disk now delicately hand engraved with numbers is a little over five inches wide, a full inch and a half larger than the common hard drive disks we now use. The disk its self has a lovely smoke effect like the color of smoky quartz around the inner edge. The reading arm on the disk swings up and down as the pin against it spins.

The original body of the hard drive has a special metallic iridescent paint. it will change colors in the light from dark to bright purple, blue, or dark green all depending on the angle of the light, the current room lighting or even the time of day.

The wood of the clock's stand is poplar and oak. It is stained a deep red mahogany color with a vine trim around the base. This piece is really quite wonderful and just has to be enjoyed in person. it never remains the same and if you move it from one spot in a room to another it may change color.
