Sample-Grey Leather Bag with Ruffles and Removable Straps

I wanted to use some of my really great leather remnants to create a sweet and interesting bag. The base of the bag is made out of a grey suede with accents of light grey for the side gathers and on the front is a non-functioning pocket with ruffles I cut out of this fabulous crumply white and pink leather. I think the buttery yellow on the pocket and the small strap work great with the various grey shades.

The bag has two removable straps so it can be can be worn as a messenger or a purse. The messenger strap is grey suede and the shorter strap is a buttery yellow. At the ends of each strap are rotating clasps.

The inside is lined with a purple and white striped light weight vintage upholstery fabric. There are two pockets on the inside one for the cell phone and one larger for everything else.

On the front is a snap closure.

Hardware on the bag is heavy duty, high quality silver.
