ABOUT THE COMPUTER JEWELRY SERIES:

WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA FOR MAKING COMPUTER ACCESSORIES?

I like to do my part to recycle and reuse. When I noticed several old keyboards around the house, the thought just came to me that I could make something out of them. Computers play such a major role in our daily work and social lives, I figured why not make them a part of our fashion lives also? As a metalsmith and jewelry artist I see the human body as a lively traveling canvas to display my work.

My first piece was an "Esc" ring that I found to be a humorous reminder to the wearer to "take a break." It got a great response, and I went on to use different keys and combinations to make fun statement pieces.
