Some clocks may be listed twice. That is because Etsy isn’t set up to put the same listing into more than one store section. I want my store sections to be shop-able, so if a clock fits both the Africa and wildlife sections, the only way to get it into both is to list it twice. I apologize for any confusion.

These hand painted clocks are made from 12” LP record albums. It is just one thing I do that helps save something from ending up in a landfill. Ed Begley would be proud. . These green home décor wall clocks are battery operated and have a hanger on the back of the mechanism. Whether you want to call them recycled, up-cycled, re-purposed or reused, buying these clocks helps reduce the need for more and more things being made in factories. They are lightweight, and durable. Because they are made from records, we recommend that you do not leave them in hot sun as they will warp.

I have many designs for adults and children. Each and every charming kids or adults clock is painted with acrylic and/or house paint and sealed with water base polyurethane. Some of the clocks match kids table and chair sets and toy boxes sold by becreativekids, also selling things on Etsy. If you see a clock I sell and want a step stool, toy box or table and chair set to match my clocks, no problem. If you see a step stool, toy box or table and chair set at becreativekids on Etsy or the regular website and don’t see the matching clock, we can do that and sometimes we can combine the shipping. If you don’t see the clock design you’re looking for in my store, send me a photo, and I will let you know if I can do it, and give you the price. Then I will list your clock on Etsy especially for you. I love to paint, and love challenges. If all you have is an idea for a clock, I am pretty creative, and love to put together concept pieces.

All clocks ship within 7 days, with the possible exception of quantity orders. If you need a quantity, we will iron out the details before you purchase.

Shipping is set at 8.95 by parcel with confirmation for the lower 48 states for one clock. Outside of the United States, you need to email me for cost. Insurance is optional for 1.60. I combine shipping.

GET YOUR CLOCK FREE BY HAVING A GHOST PARTY. I can mail you a couple of full color flyers that you may use to take orders for clocks from friends, relatives or co-workers. Sell just 5 and your clock is free. All orders will be shipped to you for distribution. Email me if you’d like flyers.
If you live close to Westfield and want to have a clock party, I don’t mind holding them at my studio. Just bring your friends and some snacks….I will supply the coffee. You get one clock free for every 5 sold.

Naturally, although only clocks are listed here, I also do paintings on furniture, canvas, plaques, saws, vehicles, wood, driftwood, stone, and anything else that doesn’t move too fast to be painted on. If you live in the Westfield area, and want murals, I do those too. I can make your basement columns look just like bamboo….crazy, but true.

Background/Bio: I graduated from GMHS (Granby Memorial High School in Granby, Connecticut) Class of 1975. I took business courses, and every art course offered there, till I had taken them all. I then had "independent study", which meant I just had to turn in X amount of paintings per semester. At the time, I was very in to watercolor, but have since been won over by acrylics. My art teacher was Charlotte Moody, whom I loved. She was/is very talented, and taught me to paint big among other things, of course. The clocks are relatively new to me, and come with a challenge....dealing with the hole in the middle. It makes portraits next to impossible unless you actually want clock hands on the person's forehead or nose, or you can live with the face off to one side or at the top. However, for most artwork, the clocks are the perfect medium, especially for someone with a short attention span. I love to look at the collection on the walls of my studio, where I keep the original to each clock hanging on the wall or on display shelves.

When you receive your clock, it will be set at 12:00. Insert an AA battery, not included, and use your finger to dial the long hand around clockwise till the correct time is reached. If you have any problem with the mechanism, please let me know. I will take care of you.
