Fending Off Gustav

Welp....we have been very lucky to escape an eye of a hurricane for three years down here in the bayou state, but as Gustav crosses the Caribean, this town is a-buzz with the general chatter of staying or leaving....and certainly many of us are praying to fend off this Gustav......my positive visualization has those weather systems pushing him off to another locale!! Get on outta here intruder!

And so here is a super fun pair of funky bloomer bottoms made of upcycled ruffles and a vintage cotton stripe fabric. The stripes on the fabric are blues and browns like the rising Mississippi as the tidal serge arrives.....

These have a lower rise and two rows of eyelet ruffles at the knee. The waist has a tie with elastic so you can slip them on easy. The legs are wide and comfy and there are no side seam to detract form sexy curves!

These are approx a XS-M size and mesure so laying flat:
Waist: 38" gathering down to 24"
Hip: 44"
Inseam: 20"
Around bottom hemline: 28"

Sewn and serged with care....super fun and full of life!
