Bodhiseed Mala with Rudraksha Markers

Description

Bodhiseed is an ancient material for malas, very inspiring and auspicious.
It is traditionally used in "pacifying" meditations, but useful for any. Rudraksha is also a traditional mala bead.

It feels soft and warm, and the more you use it the better it willl feel!

This mala has 106 bodhiseeds in the 10mm size. Marking the 7th, 21st, and 56th place are 5 bumpy rudraksha seeds. 7 and 21 are number of mantra repetitions in many traditional Buddhist practices, but if you aren't Buddhist, they simply look beautiful and are meaningful.

111 is the traditional length of a mala when a 108-bead mala has three beads added. This is for extra mantras in case you were distracted. It can't hurt to say a few more Om Mani Padme Hung mantras for the well-being of all!

Finishing the mala is a cotton tassel I made.
It is all strung on nylon-coated beading wire to last longer.

There is about a one bead space in the whole strand for ease of use.
Approximately 24 inches long, or 61 centimeters.
