Upcycled CD Earrings
Description
These one of a kind sparklies in an organic diamond shape are sure to add some personality to anything your wearing. They are Earth friendly because I made them from old scratched up CDs that were heading for the trash bin.The CDs went through quite a process on their way to becoming earrings. The shapes were drawn on and cut out by melting out the shape with a hot solder tool. Then they were zapped in the microwave to get the crackles and bubbles and then spent some time melting in the oven before being sanded and drilled. lastly, They united with their silver plated earwires.
Measure approx. 2" from top to bottom.
