Montmartre Plaid Painter's Dress
Description
This piece was built from scratch through the French design technique of "moulage": I pinned and tucked on both a dress form and a live model until it was sculpted from my imagination with attention to tailoring and fit.Loose mini-dress in lightweight winter crinkled madras in woven purple, black and gray plaid. Elastic scoop neck. Raglan sleeves with pouf cuffs. Machine-serged edges. Unlined. Separate adjustable belt. Like all my clothing, this item is as nicely finished on the inside as it is on the outside.
This dress has a lot of ease and fits all sizes starting from French 36 up to French 40. The smaller you are, the more ease the dress will have. French sizes are as follows:
French 36:
Bust 84 /33"
Waist: 64/25.2"
Hips: 90-94/35.4"
