Star Wars Knitsabers Pattern PDF

Description

This is a knitting pattern for toy knitted lightsabers (a.k.a. knitsabers). The pattern includes instructions for four knitsabers: Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Episode IV blue bladed saber, Luke Skywalker’s Episode VI green bladed saber, Darth Vader’s Episode IV red bladed saber and Mace Windu’s Episode II purple bladed saber.

Knitsaber handles measure between 3”-3½ “ and the blades measure ~4¾ in length. Knitsabers knit up crazy fast and require very little yarn. They’re the perfect size for babies and little kids or for cat or dog toys (especially if you add in some catnip or a bell as you stuff them). Knit one or several for a Star Wars fan you know! Knit one to satisfy your own geeky crafty cravings ! Knit one for a cat who happens to be a fan of both Star Wars and hand knits! Knit all four for the cutest, geekiest baby mobile that ever hung over a geek baby’s cradle.

The pattern is 10 pages long and includes pictures and detailed instructions. Technically, it requires that you be able to knit, purl, decrease and knit in the round. Obi-wan and Mace Windu require some very minimal hand sewing.
