Reversible Fabric Headband in Moss Green

This reversible cotton headband was made by Trillium Artisans member Denise Castanon of Crafty. You can visit her Etsy shop at http://craftyhandmade.etsy.com.

This headband is cute and super comfortable, and since it's reversible, it does the work of two headbands!

One side features a mod geometric print in yellow and aqua on a white background. The other side is a versatile solid moss green with topstitching in aqua and green.

The tie-on style of headband works for women with all types of hair, but looks especially good on women with short hair. The headband is about 2.5 inches wide and will fit most adult women's heads and will work for girls, too. Delicate machine wash with like colors. Tumble dry low. Iron as needed. Do not bleach.

Denise uses fabric that is donated to us by various local interior design houses. These are high quality, new fabric samples that would otherwise go into the landfill if we didn't rescue them.

Trillium Artisans is a nonprofit community economic development organization that supports low-income crafters in the city of Portland, Oregon, USA, who create handmade items using a minimum of 50% recycled or reclaimed materials.

After working as a magazine editor for more than eight years, Denise decided to take a break. Not one to sit idle for too long, she took a sewing class and a firestorm of creativity erupted. Soon Denise began sewing purses and headbands, re-learning to knit, and designing her own embroidery patterns. Denise sells her Crafty creations, including wire-wrapped jewelry, at arts and craft shows around the Pacific Northwest.
