Soft Brown Recycled wool sweater mittens, lined with fleece

These mittens used to be the sleeves and cuffs of a Mackinaw Trail wool sweater! I chopped off the sleeves, sewed ‘em up, and voila! Cozy mittens!

Soft brown colored on the outside with a muted camoflage forest printed fleece on the inside, these wool mittens will keep your hands and fingers toasty warm during the cold winter months. They measure 4 ½” wide by 10 ½” long and would best fit a medium woman’s hand. My hand is 7” long from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger, and 3” wide at the base of my 4 fingers (not including my thumb) – these mitts are a perfect fit for my hand, not too tight but not too loose.

Check out the cabling on the topside/outside of the mittens – very pretty. Muted camoflage forest print colored fleece lining adds another layer of warmth and dryness.

I don’t recommend washing these in the washer nor drying them in the dryer (they’d shrink down for sure – that’s what wool does!) – spot cleaning and air drying should be sufficient.
