Jazz Club Hand Pulled Linocut
The print measures approx 43cm by 20cm, is printed using linseed oil based inks, designed specifically for relief printmaking and is printed on acid free, archival paper (heritage). Signed, numbered and dated.
The process of linoprinting involves hand drawing on to a piece of linoleum, using lino cutting tools to then cut the piece and finally hand printing using a Press ( the one i use is 170 yrs old but it is not neccessary to use one this old, just really rewarding to do so!).This print is numbered a/p (artist print) because, although there are only 10 of them, I printed others in different colours. (This one is silver and black). But since there are only 10 of these prints in existance and i never reproduce my work digitally, rest assured you will own something very rare.
