I scanned and lovingly restored these amazing hand-colored engravings from an 1890s French book of fashion. The images are detailed, beautiful, and very rare, with single plates (original, copies, or downloads) selling for $20-$50 each.

Q:: what is a digital collage sheet?
A:: it's an 8.5x11 inch file that will be emailed to you with high-resolution (300 dpi) images on it. Think of it like a page of independent clip art for crafters. All of the work of creating the images and researching copyright has been done for you. You can then print out your jpg again and again at home or at a copy store using cardstock, photo paper, sticker paper, and more to use for your crafts.

Q:: what's the quality like?
A:: all of my images and collage sheets are 300 dots-per-inch, the perfect resolution for printing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I can spend hours with my scanner, Photoshop and Illustrator restoring and perfecting each image. Check my feedback to see what other people are saying.

Q:: what can I do with these sheets? Can I make items to sell?
A:: with your purchase, you receive the right to use these images for your personal crafts or to make items to sell, such as cards or jewelry. Basically, you can do almost anything with the images except sell or give them away digitally (including on websites), sell them as unaltered prints, or mass produce items (more than 100). Q:: how does the copyright thing work?
A:: I refuse to use an image unless I am 100% confident that it is in the public domain in the U.S. or I personally own the copyright. I write letters to publishing houses and authors (all of which I have on file), pour through old copyright renewal notices, and have a lawyer with whom I consult on a regular basis.
