Night Waters No. 1

Night Waters No. 1 was made for the April EBW challenge- Time Machine. When trying to come up with a design idea I kept thinking back to the carefree camping vacations we had when our sons were young. We spent many nights gazing at the waters of mountain lakes. It reminds me of the rippling dark waters reflecting the light of the moon and stars. This is the first in a series of Night Waters freeform cuffs that I plan on making.

Night Waters No. 1 is made in freeform peyote using 8 different beads (seed, triangle, hex) in various shades of black and gray. It is approximately 1 1/2 inches wide and measures 7 inches long not including the loop. It will fit a 6 1/2- 6 3/4 inch wrist. The closure is a beautiful vintage black glass button that should be worn on the top of the wrist and a peyote loop.
