Tudors Inspired Crystal Cabochon Necklace OOAK Made by SpringColors

Tonight begins the 3rd season of one of my favorite TV show THE TUDORS. A fascinating journey in a time machine into the 16th century England, very green and pastoral and very bloody.

In the Court, Henry the 8th, Anne Boleyn and their courtiers love, hate, scheme and fight in beautifully embroidered garment and fabulous jewelry.

The beauty and the richness of the jewelry and costumes in the series inspired me to make this necklace. Delicate lace of beads circles sparkly cabochon, circled with fresh water pearls and embellished with swarovski crystals. The necklace is romantic and gentle as a Court lady and fit for a queen.

This necklace has been created for the Etsy Beadweaver's (EBWC) Beadweaving April Challenge. The theme of this month's challenge is "time machine".

The length of the necklace is approximately 20.1" (51.5 cm). The diameter of the center piece is 2.8" (6.5 cm).

The necklace is unique, one of a kind and handmade. The shipping includes gift wrap.
