Hannah Died - Tombstone Rubbing Silk Scarf - 11 X 60
Description
Hannah Died... in the mid-1800's. But I think she might still be hanging around her grave at Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. When I left the grave site, my engine malfunction light went on. Curious. After I got home, and my kids had returned home from school (not knowing I had been to the cemetery,) my eldest son came into my studio and asked, "Who is in here?"
"Just me."
"Oh. I thought there was somebody else in here. Someone said, 'Hello,' to me, and it wasn't you."
"Hmm. Was it a woman's or a man's voice?"
"A woman's." (He looked around in a confused way -- as if he were sure he should find someone else -- shrugged, and went on his way.)
I can't be certain Hannah won't follow this scarf to your home. As a disclaimer, I must say I cannot be held liable for article blessings or exorcisms that may ensue.
But my engine light went off. That's a good sign.
This Habotai silk scarf is 11" X 60". I make tombstone rubbings on the scarf using multiple grave markers and lightfast, fabric crayons. The imprints are heat set and permanent. The scarf has been washed and pressed, and is ready to wear.
Hand wash cool water. Hang to dry. Press with an iron on silk setting.
Each scarf is unique and one of a kind, just like the deceased. And just like you. The photos show the actual scarf listed.
