1950s hand painted compact
Description
This is a goldtone 2 3/4 x 2 3/8" compact from the 1950's. The top has a white background, and there is a hand painted branch design with pink buds (light pink, darker pink, brown and black). The compact was never used and has a fresh powder puff inside, with S. F. Co., 5th Avenue and a crown stamped in gold. The top half is mirrored. This is a very sweet piece to add to a compact collection, is pretty for display or, or course, to use! Condition is excellent.Added on Oct 10, 2009
