Made of incredible INDUSTRIAL-STRETCH DOUBLE-KNIT FABRIC to buyers measurements. For this listing can be anywhere from a 20"waist to a 35" waist and any bust measurement up to 42 dd. This is a classic 1940s style dress inspired by Edith Head who created this silhouette for several silver screen sirens to hide particular figure flaws. As a wearer of this dress myself, I can give you my unbiased opinion that this is one of my favorite dresses to put on when I need a little "extra confidence". This dress is simply liberating. I have improved this dress over the years in many ways yet always kept true to the integrity of the style and final look of the dress. I perfected it in several ways since the first one was made from the original and actual unprinted 1939 Vogue pattern and needed some "tweeking". The main feature of this dress is the incredibly comfortable and accommodating stretch fabric that the base of this dress is made of. It has the amazing effect of trimming off inches and I swear that you will find yourself looking 10 lbs thinner upon looking in the mirror in this dress! The fabric has a "girdle" effect and tucks and smooths out any undesirable bulges! Fits like a second skin and is soooo comfortable. It moves with you yet the top bust panels have just the right wiggle room... and what woman doesn't wish she could wear Satin but is afraid to? This dress has just the right amount, framing the face with the glow of Satin and further enhancing a girls features. A modern dress as it is an ode to the 40s classy, womanly style. Shows curves and drips in sex appeal yet leaves something to the imagination. This dress is not only for swing nights and jive sessions, it is superbly at home in a smoky jazz club (either at the bar or on stage) or going from office to cocktails.

Buyer may choose the satin panel (shown in Red here) or any other color. Please see my halter satin dress currently in my Etsy store for color variety in Satin. If you wish not not have a Satin, an alternate option would be to have a doubled Chiffon like shown here in leopard print. I also have in stock a white pinstripe Black Satin or matte rust-Red with Black pinstripes. The last photo shown here are other Satin colors available for the bust and buttons.

Typical bracelet length 3/4 sleeves have triple elbow darts and tucks at shoulder. Amazing fit and flare on this dress is accentuated with a snug waist and three coordinating buttons. Waist has a tie belt that ties into a mini bow. Side invisible zipper.
