plant dyed silk scarf
Description
this silk scarf is dyed by hand using dyes that i have created. all of my dyes start as whole fruits, vegetables, spices, nuts, etc. no batch of dye can ever be duplicated so each piece is completely unique!the process i use involves a natural color fixative so the scarves are color fast.
this smoky blue colored dye was created using blueberries.
scarf is 100% silk flat crepe. it has a beautiful sheen and is lightweight~ perfect for spring and summer. features a hand rolled hem with 100% silk thread.
