Description
This piece is reserved for Lisa, ya'll!You'll be skipping off to Parson's in this sweet little jumper!
This jumper is constructed from adorable cotton/poly farbic of deep blue printed with a line-style plaid pattern. The skirt is a basic cupcake shape with generous gathers all the way around the waistband, which give you a great little flounce when you strut around. On either side are two circular bucket-style pockets made of a contrasting darker chambray fabric rimmed in white. The suspenders extend over the shoulders and cross in back to prevent slipping off the shoulders. Two handmade buttons adorn the end of each suspender. The waistband and suspenders are lined with white cotton, and the skirt itself is unlined. Perfect!
The "waist" on this jumper typically sits just at the true waist. The cotton has very little give so please be sure that you can live with 29”.
This piece is absolutely unique and one of a kind. This garment has been constructed out of reclaimed or second-hand fabric, which means that the material was purchased uncut from a thrift store, not that it’s from a previously existing piece of clothing. These measurements are precise—remember to figure in breathing room!
**Please note: I always recommend hand-washing each of my pieces in warm water. Since all of my fabric is “found” I’m often guessing as to fabric content, and gentle washing in warm water is the best way to care for most fabrics, and all handmade pieces!
