The hibiscus flower is traditionally worn by Hawaiian women as a single flower tucked behind the ear. Which ear is used indicates the wearer's availability for marriage.
The hibiscus is also the national flower of both Malaysia and South Korea.

The Hibiscus Earrings comprise a fusion of top quality gems with bright silver, in the breathtaking, glowing colours of the sunset.

In each earring, microfaceted nuggets of AAA pink amethyst have been enclosed in a silver herringbone weave wrap and accented with fine faceted silver beads.

An opulent assemblage of sparkling stones dangles below, beginning with a large rhodochrosite rondelle, then Imperial topaz hearts, more rhodochrosite rondelles and sublime padparadscha sapphire teardrops, with all gems supported by hand made sterling pins.

At the base of this lusciousness lies another large AAA pink amethyst, this time in a laser cut pear briolette. Encompassing the stone is a sterling wire wrapped frame edged with more silver faceted beads, further unifying the design.

The Hibiscus Earrings hang approx. 70mm from the top of the sterling French ear hook to the lowest silver bead.

All gems use in these sumptuous earrings are AA-AAA quality and all metal is sterling silver.
