Vintage Zipper Slide Studs - Steel 'Serval'

Description

These are stud earrings made with matching vintage zipper slides. These steel slides are most likely from the 1940s or 50s and have the brand name, Serval, inscribed twice on each slide which is slightly unusual. I have a passion for collecting vintage zippers and when I come across pairs of nice looking slides (out of hundreds I collect!), I can't help but make them into earrings! The slides are attached to sterling silver posts with sterling silver backs to help prevent allergies. These earrings are fun and beautiful and make a great gift for teens, young adults and the young at heart!
